As a proud South African company, we are committed to our community and from birth have engaged in both social strategies and commitments to previously disadvantaged communities.
At Participate we are committed to equality, equal opportunity, skills development and creating employment, our company values echo that of our founder, David Wilson. We are active in our donations and serving our community where we can, this is not something we like to boast about but rather just get doing. We live in a country where the needs are many and the workers are few.
Over the last decade we have had the privilege of donating monies and technologies to previously disadvantaged schools, giving our time making sandwiches to hand out at community clinics, raising awareness for orphans, vulnerable babies and children who are threatened by HIV/AIDS supported by iThemba Lethu. David also cycles raising awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) supporting Ernie Els’s initiative Els for Autism .
In 2018 David Wilson joined Lisa Illingworth and S’onqoba Vuba to launch FutureProof a 51% black female owned business of which Participate Technologies is a shareholder and major funder of it’s operations.
This amazing initiative seeks to address the challenges our country faces by teaching the youth the fundamental skills and behaviours required to become entrepreneurs. Already having taught just under 3000 children in it’s first 2 years of operation.
